Hear from members of our community about how God is working through Driftless Ministries
“Driftless Ministries truly understands the power of living without an EGO, an understanding that when we lose our EGOS we live more fulfilling lives and are able to show others true compassion. I love their mission.”

“In becoming Driftless, I’ve come to see how my need to be right has quietly pushed people away. It’s cost me growth, understanding, and sometimes even closeness with the people I care about. Letting go of the urge to be right is the way I’ve started to truly connect.”

“The more I clung to being ‘right,’ the less I grew. It wasn’t until I grasped the Driftless concept that I realized that listening doesn’t make me weak, and that letting go of my need to be right opens the door to connection that I started to change. My ego wasn’t protecting me — it was keeping me small.”

Family is the heart of a Driftless Mindset. God created the family as the first community, where love, faith, and values are passed from one generation to the next (Deuteronomy 6:6–7). When Christ is the foundation of our homes, family becomes more than blood—it becomes a covenant of love, support, and shared purpose.
Scripture reminds us, “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). A Christ-centered family provides stability, encouragement, and spiritual covering in a world filled with uncertainty. It is within the family that we learn forgiveness, practice patience, and experience unconditional love that mirrors God’s heart.
Family is not about perfection—it’s about presence. It’s about showing up, serving one another, and building a legacy that points to Christ. When our families are rooted in Him, they become powerful testimonies of faith, resilience, and eternal purpose.
CloseFaith is the foundation of a Driftless Mindset. It begins with a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (John 3:16), the cornerstone of all true transformation. When we surrender our lives to Him, we not only receive eternal life, but we also activate the power of God at work within us—“immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20–21).
As believers, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16), meaning God’s very presence dwells in us. This isn't just a concept—it's a living reality. Where His Spirit is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17): freedom from fear, shame, addiction, and anything else that tries to hold us back from living fully in His purpose.
Faith is not merely belief—it’s a daily walk, a growing trust, and a deepening intimacy with a God who knows us, loves us, and calls us to live boldly, free and full of purpose.
CloseThe only thing that can outlast you is our legacy. Legacy is the culmination of a Driftless Mindset. It is not measured in possessions or accolades, but in the values, faith, and impact we pass on to others. (2 Timothy 2:10) The psalmist declares, “One generation shall commend your works to another and shall declare your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4). A Christ-centered legacy shapes lives long after ours, influencing future generations to walk in truth, courage, and love.
Living with legacy in mind shifts our perspective from temporary pursuits to eternal significance. It asks us to invest in people, not just projects; to sow seeds of hope, not just ambition. Legacy is built when our daily choices reflect God’s purpose—when we serve, forgive, encourage, and love in ways that echo into eternity.
Legacy is not only about what we leave behind—it is about what we live for today. When we live beyond ourselves, we create a heritage of faith, strength, and resilience that outlasts our years and points others to the One who gives life without end.
ClosePurpose is the compass of a Driftless Mindset. It answers the question, Why am I here? True purpose is not found in chasing status, wealth, or ego-driven pursuits—it is discovered when we align our lives with God’s greater plan (Romans 8:28). Scripture reminds us that “we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works” (Ephesians 2:10).
Living with purpose means using our gifts, talents, and experiences to serve something greater than ourselves. (Matthew 16:24) It transforms everyday choices into eternal impact and lifts us beyond self-interest into a life of legacy. Purpose is what gives our struggles meaning, our victories significance, and our journey direction.
CloseFriendships are a vital part of a Driftless Mindset. God designed us to thrive in community, not in isolation. True friendship goes beyond surface-level connections; it reflects the love of Christ, who laid down His life for His friends (John 15:13). When our relationships are rooted in Him, they become life-giving sources of encouragement, accountability, and joy.
The Bible reminds us that “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Godly friendships help us grow stronger in faith, refine our character, and inspire us to pursue His calling with courage. They remind us we are not alone—together, we can bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and celebrate one another’s victories.
Friendships anchored in Christ are not just social connections; they are spiritual bonds that empower us to walk boldly, love deeply, and live purposefully in the freedom God provides.
